Why Accessibility Matters at Events with our photo booth services in Maryland

June 1, 2025

We recently had the immense honor of being part of a heartwarming and joy-filled event hosted by LIFE Inc (Living in a Free Environment)—an incredible organization that has been serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities since 1983. From their beginnings in Greater Baltimore and Howard County to their expansion into Southern Maryland in 2015, L.I.F.E. has remained dedicated to empowering people through residential, vocational, and medical day services.

Held at the elegant Martins West Caterers on Dogwood Road in Baltimore, the event welcomed about 100 incredible individuals and their devoted caretakers for an evening of fun, connection, and celebration. Many of the attendees were non-verbal and used wheelchairs, and it was deeply moving to witness the way each caretaker made sure the spotlight stayed exactly where it belonged—on the individuals they support.

The love, respect, and joy in the room were undeniable. Guests arrived dressed to impress, and the energy was contagious from the very beginning. From dancing and mingling to striking poses in our photo booth with colorful props, it was a night full of laughter, music, and moments that mattered.

One of our favorite parts of the night was watching guests light up in front of the camera. With every smile, peace sign, and silly prop, it was clear this wasn’t just a photo—it was a moment of self-expression, pride, and joy.

These are the kinds of events that stay with you. L.I.F.E.’s commitment to dignity, inclusion, and person-first care is something we deeply admire. It was truly an honor to be part of this celebration, and we are so thankful to the staff and caregivers who bring that mission to life every day.
